Let us answer some of the most common questions asked by PDIC Instructor Candidates.

QWhile in the PDIC Instructors Program will I be tested on the Skills and Knowledge I already have, or am I going to be taught to teach Diving?

AYou will be taught the PDIC System of teaching diving. PDIC methods have been developed after many years of teaching all sort of students in all different climates. You will become familiar with the PDIC methods of teaching that will enable your future students to become safe, comfortable divers. You will learn” Problem Solving” how to recognize problems your future students may have while learning to dive and the proper techniques and actions you the instructor must take to correct the students problems. PDIC has developed a complete list of the true problems that can be expected while teaching each exercise and the proper methods for the instructor to correct the problem.

QWhere can I enroll in the PDIC instructor program?

APDIC has Instructor Trainers in eighty countries as well as in the United States.

QIs PDIC Internationally Recognized Organization?

APDIC is teaching in 90 countries. With over 75 thousand Instructors. PDIC is a charter member of WRSTC – RSTC – Universal Referral Program – CMAS OCC Center. Inter-nationally PDIC is known as the “Quality Training Agency”.

QJob Placement?

AThe Dive Industry is small. PDIC has industry contacts through-out the world and will realistically try to help you. The more skills other than teaching diving that you have, can make your employment more attractive to an employer.

QAre there opportunities in the Dive Industry other than Instructing?

AYes – While attending the PDIC Instructor Program you will become aware of other employment opportunities within the Dive Industry.
